I am a resident of Kashmir. I have seen how this public ‘safety’ act has been used by the establishment to curb any kind of simple political difference arising among youth or any other political faction. It is a pity that a huge number of juvenile youth have been detained under the act. If India claims kashmir to be a part of India or whatsoever, how can such barbaric law be slapped on its youth
I want the new Government should review the public safety act and make necessary changes or amendment so that innocent people would not trapped in it.
Indian PM should support Amnesty International effort get a Investigation through UN as soon as possible for the people in Sri Lanka
people should be punished for this. I think Police needs to be penalized, and Rapers needs to be strangled to death. Indian now needs to create examples to stop this.
I think its time for the new government, to repeal all laws and ordinances in all states and union territories ,which result in human rights violations , bring such an ordinance which upholds basic fundamental and human rights and gives freedom of expression.
simply if its safety act or what they called as law then there should not be humilation of people to whom they detaining under lawlless law
