PUBLIC ACTION

• Signature Campaign: Sign petition/post card and send to Amnesty International India for submission to Chinese Embassy.
  
  *The petition draft will be sent by the programme office via email.
  
  
• Banner Stamping:Stamp the banners with a 'seal' that reads "Olympic Lagacy" and write the dreams and hopes for the human rights legacy of the Beijing Olympics next to it.
  
  *Text/image for banners and stamp will be sent by email for printing at your end.
  
  
• Torch Relay and Pledge Banking: Organize a torch relay in your town/locality. Use large wooded dowels or cardboard tubes as batons with Amnesty International logo and Olympic Legacy Slogans. Start a registration process for the event in the form of pledge banking.

Important: Take pictures or video of all the above actions and send the same to programme office for submission to International Secretariat, which will be used on websites/in newsletters and to produce a video of Amnesty International in action worldwide. The photographs and videos must reach the programme office earlier by June 1, 2008.
