Film Festival
The International Week of Justice Festival showcases stories of freedom, survival, resistance and resilience through the eyes of courageous filmmakers. It lends a frame to the stories for freedom and dignity, for voices on the margins of our consciousness.
Film has the power to educate and inspire and we believe the International Week of Justice Festival 2008 will be no exception. Featuring both documentaries and dramatic films the International Week of Justice Festival brings to Indian audiences films that otherwise would not be available.
The theme of the Festival is 'Voices of Dignity'. This includes many recurring themes, such as, Human Security, Right to Life, Borders, Discrimination, Displacement, Disappearance Prison Stories, and Fundamentalisms.
We hope the International Week of Justice Festival will provide the space for reflection, dialogue, awareness-building and act as catalyst to create change.
